Lions honor Jack Campbell, lead NFL Week 9 arrivals

November football doesn't come with one dress code.

The South could see two takes on fall fashion on Sunday. With sunshine and temperatures in the mid-60s in Charlotte, a varsity jacket or a knit polo would fit right in. In Miami Gardens, temperatures in the 80s leave room for breezy button-downs, relaxed trousers and shades.

Out West, sunshine in Southern California and the Bay Area sets the stage for short sleeves and lighter fabrics. Seattle could call for a different approach, with possible showers in the forecast.

The Northeast and Midwest offer more chances to break out fall staples. Temperatures in the 50s in Philadelphia and Foxborough are good territory for knitwear, and a cool Sunday night in Chicago gives players a reason to pull out a statement coat for the walk into Soldier Field.

Here are the NFL's most fashionable arrivals from Week 9.

Sunday's best

Detroit Lions players arrived with tributes to All-Pro linebacker Jack Campbell as he recovers from a neck injury. Aidan Hutchinson added a personal touch to his signature gallon water jug, labeling it "Jack," while Derrick Barnes, Malcolm Rodriguez, Joe Bachie, Amen Ogbongbemiga, K.J. Britt and Trevor Nowaske wore Campbell's jersey.

Campbell, who has been placed on injured reserve, said in a statement Wednesday that he has full movement in his lower body and is making progress with movement in his upper body.

Thursday night's fits

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence doubled up on dark denim for "Thursday Night Football," pairing a zip-front jacket with matching jeans and cream sneakers. Ravens rookie linebacker Ethan Burke, who was born in Annapolis, Maryland, and grew up in nearby Pasadena, showed some love to the Washington Capitals by layering a throwback Alex Ovechkin jersey featuring the Screaming Eagle logo over a black hoodie.
