Punjab FC has signed French midfielder Mickael Ramon Vincent Malsa ahead of the upcoming 2026-27 season, the club announced on Tuesday.
Malsa has penned a one-year contract that will keep the 30-year-old at the club until May 31, 2027. He has spent several years competing at the highest level of Spanish football, notably making over 60 appearances in La Liga during a strong four-year spell with Levante UD.
Born in Paris, Malsa climbed through the youth ranks at FC Sochaux-Montbéliard before launching his senior career in Ligue 1. He had stints with his boyhood club Sochaux and US Avranches in France, Royal Antwerp in Belgium, Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands, and a loan spell with Platanias in Greece.

In Spain, he has represented Albacete, Real Valladolid, and CD Mirandés, a club he returned to earlier this year. He also played for Wydad AC in Morocco, a period during which he featured at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
He represents Martinique in international football.

I have heard great things about the passion of the fans and the ambition within the squad, and I cannot wait to get started. My aim is to bring my experience to the midfield, work hard for the team, and help us achieve big things together this season.”
