Coronation Street's Ross ramps up his bullying as Marco is left devastated

Any hope of a successful appeal for Coronation Street’s Marco fell flat – and Ross did not hesitate to rub it in.
Marco was sent to prison following a serious driving incident during a robbery while he was already wearing an electronic ankle tag.
Due to previous offences he lost his case, was denied bail and sentenced to time in prison, but Marco was given the chance to appeal his conviction.
Marco's girlfriend, Summer, was hopeful of a positive result, especially with Adam due to represent him.
But things took a drastic turn in tonight's episode when Adam was accosted by his uncle Daniel while he was on his way to court.
He was furious after discovering that Adam’s law firm was involved in the sale of the school land and did not tell him.
“An offer came in, I couldn't refuse, it’s business!” Adam said.
“You set me up and you stab me in the back!” Daniel hit back. The pair squared up to one another before they came to blows in the middle of the street.

Daniel drew blood from Adam which poured onto his shirt, forcing him to go home and change before going to court to represent Marco.
This proved costly as Adam arrived to court late and as a result, Marco’s appeal application was rejected, leaving Summer distraught.
Fans later saw a dejected Marco sat in his cell before being joined by Ross, who is a prison officer and Tyrone's father.

Realising his chance to make Marco feel worse about his situation, Ross sneered: “Must be tough, getting your hopes up and having them dashed to the ground?
“You’re not going to cry are you? Like a big baby? No, good lad, no. Not the end of the world is it? Just got to take it like a man."
Ross continued: “If you did get out, how much would you miss me, eh? Don’t you worry son, because I’m going to look out for you.” before snarling at Marco and walking away.
Gary then joined Marco and was told his appeal was rejected. An anxious look spread across Marco’s face, before admitting to Gary: "I can't do this any more.”
Will Gary find out what Ross is up to and try to protect Marco from him, or will Ross’ bullying continue to intensify?
