Orry opens up about fallout with childhood friend Sara Ali Khan

Internet personality Orhan Awatramani famously known as Orry has opened up about his fallout with Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, revealing that he was hurt by certain incidents and no longer wishes to continue their friendship.

The two were childhood friends and also attended college together.During an appearance on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s show ‘Double Date’, Orry spoke about genuine friendships, one-sided support and people who had disappointed him. When asked about the most famous person he had blocked, unfollowed or muted, he brought up Sara and her mother, Amrita Singh.

Orry says he stood by Sara during a difficult time

Recalling a difficult phase in Sara’s life, Orry said he had supported her when she was dealing with a major case.

He added that several people had advised him to distance himself from the actress, but he chose to stand by her.“We were childhood friends, and we went to college together. We were in Goa when Sara was going through a very big case, and I was with her throughout this. Everyone was telling me to leave her, but I didn't,” he said.Orry suggested that he had believed their friendship was strong enough to survive difficult circumstances.

Orry also spoke about his experience with Amrita Singh, claiming that she had scolded him and spoken about him to other people. He said the incident played a role in his decision to unfollow her and distance himself from Sara.“If I pretend to be friends with her now, that means whatever her mother did to me, whatever she spoke about me to everyone else, that means she is okay with it. And I never got any apology. I can't stay friends with her,” he added.He further explained that he values genuine connections and does not want to maintain friendships that he feels are not sincere.“I chase genuine friendship. I do not want to maintain a friendship that is not genuine. I am a fake person, main bahar se aur andar se poora nakli ho sakta hoon, if you want me to be fake,” Orry said.For the unversed, Orry became famous mostly through his social media presence and proximity with celebrities.Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan was recently seen playing the female lead alongside Ayushmann Khurrana in his latest comedy action drama ‘Udta Teer’.
