Girl killed and woman in serious condition after two-vehicle collision in Moana
A girl has died and a woman is in a serious condition following a two-car crash in Moana, south of Adelaide, overnight.
Emergency services were called to the incident at Commercial Road at around 6:45pm, where a Nissan sedan had collided with a Subaru station wagon.
The 11-year-old girl, who was a passenger in the Nissan, died at the scene. The car’s driver, a 35-year-old woman from Christie Downs, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Subaru, a 37-year-old man from Seaford Meadows, was also hospitalised with minor injuries.
Major crash investigators are looking into the incident, and South Australian Police are calling for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
