A toddler with a new job title is melting hearts all across the McCaffrey household. Colette, the sweet 14-month-old daughter of Olivia Culpo and San Francisco 49ers quarterback Christian McCaffrey, now shares her home with baby brother Roman Augustus McCaffrey, born September 29. Her aunt, Sophia Culpo, says the little girl has taken to the role with ease. The news came during a Beverly Hills charity event for breast cancer awareness hosted by Alice + Olivia. Here is what Sophia shared about the sibling bond, plus how Christian is handling life with two kids under two.

Sophia Culpo Shares How Colette Is Adjusting To Baby Brother Roman

Most toddlers need time to warm up to a newborn. Colette, it seems, skipped that step. Sophia Culpo, 29, saw the family up close and had nothing but praise.

“She's so sweet,” Sophia told E! News. “She loves him. She gives him little kisses and she's just so special.”

Sophia knows a thing or two about sibling life. She is the youngest of four, with older brothers and sisters Pete, Aurora and Gus. A crowded, loud, loving house is simply how she grew up, so watching the next generation grow feels personal.

“It's so special to see her get a sibling,” Sophia noted, “because we're such a big family. So, to see her get a brother is just so fun.”

Her own love life is moving along nicely too. Sophia recently introduced her boyfriend, JP, on social media, and the family has already given its verdict.

“He's got the stamp of approval,” Sophia confirmed. “He's just so thoughtful and sweet.”

Christian McCaffrey Talks Sleep And Family Life As The San Francisco 49ers Quarterback

Olivia Culpo, 34, and Christian McCaffrey, 30, married in 2024. They announced Roman's arrival with a photo of Olivia cradling her newborn in a hospital bed. New parents usually trade sleep for snuggles, but Christian had a different take when reporters asked him about it.

“Sleep's great!” Christian told reporters at an Oct. 16 press conference. “My family's down in L.A. right now while my wife's recovering. Don't tell her this, I'm sleeping fantastic.”

The joke landed, though it also revealed the plan. Olivia is resting in Los Angeles, and Christian said she will head back up to the Bay Area with the kids soon. Until then, he is balancing football and fatherhood from a distance.

Christian has never hidden how much he enjoys being a dad. Back in February, he described the joy of watching his daughter grow in simple terms.

“Watching your daughter grow has been the coolest thing in my life,” he told E! News in February. “Watching her develop a personality, start to notice the world, smile, move. It's been awesome.”

With Colette already blowing kisses at her baby brother, that feeling is about to get even bigger. Two kids under two is a lot of work. Judging by the early signs, it will also be a lot of fun.
