Translate

MANILA, Philippines – Three major political stories are making headlines this Friday: Vice President Sara Duterte called on President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to resign and accused him of being a liar and abusive after attending a Quezon City court hearing where she was supposed to be arraigned.

Also, former House Speaker Martin Romualdez is set to be transferred to the Philippine General Hospital indefinitely starting Sept. 12 following a Sandiganbayan order transferring him from Cardinal Santos Medical Center in San Juan City; and NBI Director Melvin Matibag expressed confidence that siblings Sens. Alan Peter and Pia Cayetano will return to the Philippines on Saturday.
