Temperatures across Egypt continue to rise slightly on Tuesday: EMA

Translate

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced that temperatures will continue to rise slightly across most parts of the country on Tuesday.

Hot weather is expected during the day in most regions, becoming very hot in southern Upper Egypt, while conditions will range from cool to cold at night and during the early morning hours.

Forecast maximum temperatures are 30C in Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt, 28C along the northern coasts, 33C in northern Upper Egypt, and 37C in southern Upper Egypt.

Weather maps indicate the potential for low-level clouds to form across various parts of the north, extending to Greater Cairo and the Suez Canal cities.

This may result in light, inconsequential drizzle in some areas.

There is also a very slight chance of intermittent light rain in parts of the Matrouh desert.

Satellite imagery has detected occasional wind activity, with speeds ranging between 30-35 km/h, affecting areas in Greater Cairo, South Sinai, and southern Upper Egypt at intervals.
