Royal Challengers Bengaluru secured the services of Tejal Hasabnis for Rs 30 lakh at the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2027 auction in Kochi on Wednesday.
The Maharashtra batter, who went unsold in the opening round, found a buyer in the second accelerated round after RCB made the only bid at her base price of Rs 30 lakh.
The 29-year-old made her international debut against New Zealand in October 2024 and has represented India in eight ODIs, scoring 143 runs, including a half-century against Ireland in January 2025.
