Mistrial declared in alleged 2007 stabbing murder at Adelaide party
A mistrial has been declared in the case of Kimlong Rim, who is charged with murder over the alleged fatal stabbing of a 21-year-old at a birthday party almost 20 years ago.
Mr Rim, 38, had been standing trial in South Australia's Supreme Court after pleading not guilty to the murder of Thea Kheav outside a party at Parafield Gardens, in Adelaide's north, in December 2007.
The court previously heard Mr Kheav was a guest at the 18th birthday party, which he attended with his brothers, before he died.
Justice Rachael Gray said there would be a retrial.
