Bravoholic Seth Rogen Defends Selfie with West Wilson

‘Summer House’ Stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson Seemingly React to Pregnancy Rumors
Did Seth Rogen make a superbad move by taking a selfie with West Wilson?
The Studio star—and self-described Bravoholic—defended himself after making waves online by appearing in a photo shared by Wilson taken at the 78th Creative Arts Emmy Awards, despite the Summer House alum's part in the romance scandal that rocked the Bravo world earlier this year.
"Just because I take a picture with a reality star, I do not condone their actions," Rogen exclusively told E! News at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Sept. 12. "I view these people as characters on a TV show I like, and I don't always agree with what they're doing."
He added, "But most appreciate the fact that I like the show."
The Emmy winner explained he didn't view association with Wilson—who has been dating former costar Amanda Batula since the spring, despite Wilson's close relationship with Batula's ex Kyle Cooke and Batula's friendship with Wilson's ex Ciara Miller—as having committed a mistake that made him unworthy of taking a photo with.
"That being said, there are some reality people I would not take a picture with at all," Rogen added. "But I don't know. I was in a good mood at that moment. I was excited to see him. But no, I don't know, of all the controversies swirling around reality TV these days, theirs is pretty minor, I would argue."
Rogen's photos with Wilson first appeared in the former reality star's post commemorating his appearance at the Sept. 6 awards show, where he presented the award for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Program alongside R'Bonney Gabriel.

"So grateful to have been a part of the 78th Emmy Awards," Wilson captioned a Sept. 7 Instagram carousel post. "That rocked. Thank you @televisionacad."
Included in the roundup were two photos with Rogen taken backstage, including one in which the This Is The End actor took a selfie with the former Bravolebrity.
This isn't the first time that Rogen has found himself in the middle of Bravo drama this year, either. The Platonic star recently called out Danny Booko from The Valley for bringing him up during the show's season three reunion in an effort to defend himself.
"I mean, Seth Rogen, on your show, said the same thing," Booko said to Andy Cohen on the July episode, referencing the comedian's appearance on Watch What Happens Live! in which he discussed The Valley. "'What is this Darkside Danny? I haven't seen him.'"
After the episode aired, Rogen attempted to clear his name on social media.
"For the record," he commented on Instagram in July, "I think Danny acts COMPLETELY inappropriately!"
"Keep my name out of your mouth, Danny!" Rogen added in a second comment. "You've gone off the rails!"

Kyle also insinuated West's intentions were calculated.
"West is smart enough to know who the audience is, and he knows, clearly, what to say to women to win them over," he told Adam. "Everyone's like, 'Oh my god. Look at his redemption arc!' And he was just piling on strategically, for sure."

April 10, 2026: Amanda Batula Apologizes
Following a week of backlash, Amanda broke her silence to address angry fans.
"I wanted to come back on and say that I'm truly sorry to everyone I've disappointed and hurt," the 34-year-old wrote on Instagram Stories April 10, "especially those I know personally who I've reached out to individually."
"For the sake of my mental health," she continued. "I'm going to try to start living with some sense of normalcy. If you see me out or posting online, please know that this still weighs very heavily on me. I'm not ignoring what's happened or unfolded."

April 17, 2026: Ciara Miller Breaks Her Silence
Nearly three weeks after West and Amanda went public, Ciara addressed the scandal head-on for the first time.
“It’s one thing to experience hurt behind closed doors,” Ciara told Glamour in an interview published April 17. "To experience it so publicly is like another layer, and then to have to see what you thought was your life still play out in season 10. It’s a major mindf--k."
The 30-year-old explained that she "definitely" felt closer to Amanda before the scandal, but noted that she and West "were working on our relationship." And that closeness to Amanda is why she felt more betrayed by her than by West.
"At the end of the day, a guy’s a guy," Ciara said. "Whether or not West and I are working on a relationship, you just can’t put anything past a man. But I just never would think that it would come from someone like Amanda, who has been what has felt like in my circle and in my corner for so long. I think that’s the craziest part."
