‘The Traitors’ Season 5 Cast Revealed: Kristin Chenoweth, Dominic Monaghan, Whitney Leavitt, and More

“The Traitors” has set a new round of players for its upcoming fifth season.

The cast of Season 5 of the hit Peacock reality competition series will consist of:

No official premiere date for Season 5 has been set at the time of this publishing, but it will launch in 2027.

News of the cast comes just days after it was announced that Peacock had renewed the show for an additional three seasons, as well as less than a week after the show won all seven of the Emmy Awards it was nominated for this year, including the third consecutive wins for outstanding reality competition program and outstanding host for a reality or reality competition program for Alan Cumming.

In the series, players are whisked away to a castle deep in the Scottish Highlands, where they must complete tasks and challenges to build up the prize fund. But hidden among them are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the Faithful from the game and claim the money for themselves. The Traitors “murder” the Faithful as the game goes on, with the Faithful attempting to unmask the Traitors before its too late.

NBCUniversal is already working to expand the franchise, with the new series “The Traitors: New Blood” having debuted on NBC on Sept. 17. Episodes will stream the next day on Peacock.

The format was devised by IDTV and RTL. Cumming is an executive producer in addition to hosting. Stephen Lambert, Mike Cotton, Sam Rees-Jones, Rosie Franks, Tim Harcourt, Jack Burgess, and Darrell Olsen also executive produce. Studio Lambert produces.
