KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 2 — Heavy rain triggered flash floods across several parts of the Klang Valley this afternoon, leaving roads inundated, disrupting traffic and flooding residential and commercial areas.

Videos and photographs shared on social media showed flooding in Denai Alam, Taman Tun Dr Ismail (TTDI), Bukit Jalil, Subang and along the Federal Highway near Amcorp Mall in Petaling Jaya.

In Denai Alam, Threads user @iskandarsukandar shared footage of heavy rain reducing visibility, with several motorists apparently turning back.

“What happened in Denai Alam? Everyone is turning back against the flow of traffic. Is Denai Alam flooded?” the user wrote, later identifying Persiaran Ficus as an affected road.

Another user, @eg1e___, reported severe flooding near a water tank area and a fallen tree near a Petronas station, while @kiti.ss shared footage of flooding along a route through Elmina.

Berita Harian also reported that motorists entering Denai Alam from the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH) were forced to turn back, with flooding reported along the road from Johawaki towards Caltex Denai Alam.

In Kampung Melayu Subang, Threads user @hasfiyayasmin reported severe flooding, claiming water levels had risen above chest height.

Photographs accompanying the post showed a flooded residential street and water rising to the windows of a house.

Meanwhile, user @zarrinloqman shared photographs showing a parking area near Proton in Subang inundated, with several parked vehicles partially submerged.

Astro Radio Traffic reported at 3.27pm that flash floods along the Federal Highway near Amcorp Mall had caused heavy traffic between Templer and KL Gateway.

It also reported slow-moving traffic along Jalan Bukit Pantai in Bangsar due to flooding, sharing videos credited to Threads user @slmanfrish.

According to Berita Harian, vehicles were also seen navigating flooded roads in TTDI, while rising water levels were reported along the route from Bukit Jalil towards Puchong.

Heavy rain and strong winds were also reported near Rosyam Mart in USJ 9, Subang Jaya.
