Carabao Cup : Keith Andrews Confirm First Team Debut For Benjamin Fredrick

Nigeria international defender Benjamin Fredrick is back to full fitness after spending the last eight months on the treatment table for a meniscus injury picked up in November last year, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Fredrick spent last season on loan to Belgium side FC Dender, a loan spell that ended abruptly due to the injury but he has now make a full recovery and has played two games for the U21s.
Head coach Keith Andrews confirmed earlier today that the 21 year old will be in the team for tomorrow’s Carabao Cup game against Reading, and possibly make his first team debut.
“He hasn’t had a lot of football. We decided not to play him yesterday in the B Team game to make sure he was in the right place to be available (tomorrow).” the coach said at his pre match presser.
Highly rated within the club, Fredrick who has started in all of his six senior appearances for Nigeria rose through the club’s ranks, and two seasons ago he was voted their best U23 player.
