Husband of customs officer found dead surrenders

The husband of a female customs officer who was found dead at the KLIA quarters here last night has surrendered to the police.
Negeri Sembilan police chief Alzafny Ahmad said police were alerted at approximately 8.30pm.
“The murder is believed to have been committed by her husband. The suspect surrendered himself at a police station following the incident,” he was quoted as saying by Bernama when contacted by reporters yesterday.
Alzafny said police were conducting a detailed investigation at the scene to determine the motive for the murder, as well as the exact time it occurred.
He said the suspect had been taken to the scene to help with further investigations.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code. Alzafny said further details would be released once police complete their investigation at the scene.
