Report Douvikas agrees new and improved Como contract

Como gave Moise Kean his first start this week, but are reportedly also committing Tasos Douvikas to a new and improved contract to June 2030.
The Lariani are trying to strike a balance between investing in new talent for their rise to Champions League level, and rewarding those players who helped them get there.
Douvikas started their first ever Champions League tie against RB Leipzig and scored in that 4-1 victory at the Stadio Sinigaglia.
Como reward Douvikas with improved salary
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Greece international has agreed a new and improved contract with Como that runs to June 2030.
That is just one more year on his current deal, but it does mean a significant boost in salary, as well as a show of faith despite the arrival of Kean in a €40m package.
Douvikas had been earning just €800,000 per season, compared to top earners Trevoh Chalobah and Maxence Caqueret on €3.6m.
Douvikas has scored 22 goals in 55 competitive appearances for the club since his €14m transfer from Celta Vigo in February 2025.
He turned 27 only last month and already found the net three times in five games this season.
