My Chemical Romance, Michael Jackson & More: Highlights of This Week’s Billboard Charts

Translate

Tuesday is new Billboard chart day each week! As all charts update each Tuesday, here’s a look at highlights of the latest rankings, dated Nov. 7 and reflecting the Oct. 23-29 measurement week, according to data tracker Luminate.

Among this week’s chart stars are My Chemical Romance, Michael Jackson, Ella Langley, Dominic Fike and Morgan Wallen.

My Chemical Romance’s The Black Parade is No. 1 on the Billboard 200 for the first time, also marking the band’s first leader, following its 20th anniversary deluxe reissue — as it rewrites the record for the longest trip to the top for an album.

Notably, My Chemical Romance has made its two most recent visits to the Billboard 200’s top 10, among four total, sparked by reissues: Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, released in 2004, hit No. 6 in June 2025 following the arrival of its deluxe edition. It previously peaked at No. 28 in 2005.

Meanwhile, Jackson’s “Thriller” leaps back onto the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 20. The spooky favorite, and title track to the late King of Pop’s landmark 1983 album, howled by 49% to 9.3 million chart-eligible streams in the tracking week. It also doubled to 4.2 million in radio airplay audience and gained 61% to 3,000 sold.
