The Netflix thriller series focuses on a similarly flawed spy, Knightley's Helen, who, at times, lets her emotions get the better of her and makes some reckless decisions, something that Slow Horses fans have gotten used to with the Slough House agents, particularly Jack Lowden's River Cartwright. Black Doves' Future Is Not As Certain As Slow Horses'

There is also the fact that Slow Horses is based on Mick Herron's series of spy novels, which gives the show plenty of source material to adapt.
Netflix's Black Doves has already taken a two-year gap between its first two seasons, with the spy series having yet to be renewed for season 3 at the time of writing. Additionally, Black Doves is an original series, not based on any novels, which changes its approach to new seasons. That said, even if the show were to end after season 2, Slow Horses fans would have a great time with this gritty Netflix spy thriller series when Black Doves returns next week.
