Coronation Street reveals first look at Jodie Ramsey gunshot drama as weapon is fired tomorrow

A first look at tomorrow's (Thursday 8 October) Coronation Street shows the moment twisted Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances Brown) aims a gun at her sister Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) and brother-in-law David (Jack P Shepherd).
It comes after weeks of torment from schemer, who has tried to convince her sibling that she is suffering from some sort of psychosis by using a recording of her infant daughter Harper crying.
Jodie's ulterior motive is to win David's affections, and show him that she can be a maternal figure towards his children if he split with Shona.
Things have begun to unravel, with Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) discovering the recording on Jodie's phone. Unfortunately, she also possessed audio of Bethany discussing her one night stand with Kit Green (Jacob Roberts).
Worrying that her game was up, Jodie then sent the audio to teenager Lily Platt's (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner) phone, framing her for everything Shona has gone through. A vicious argument ensued, and Shona decided to move out - and is now staying at the Chariot Square Hotel.

However, at the conclusion of today's instalment, Bethany risked everything by preparing to reveal what she knows to Shona.
New pictures reveal that Shona will eventually confront her wicked sister, but ends up being held at gunpoint as a result. Tomorrow will see tensions between Shona and Jodie reach breaking point, long-held accusations come spilling out and dark secrets exposed.
Suddenly, a gunshot rings out. As the dust settles, one person is left stricken and the family looks on in horror.
But who has been shot, and will they survive?
