Yaxel Lendeborg is stealing the limelight. In his rookie year, Yaxel is leading the Golden State Warriors to stunning wins. His recent performance against the Los Angeles Clippers is gaining wide attention from both fans and critics. However, during the post-game conference, Yaxel revealed the worst critic of his life. The response came when he was asked about the part he was most pleased with and the part he thinks he can be better at.

Who Is Yaxel's Worst Critic?

Yaxel's response reflected his self-awareness. He stated, “Definitely, I watch a lot of films on myself. I am my worst critic ever.” It felt like Yaxel had always tried to up his game based on how he felt about his performance. He further added, “I've always been my worst judge.” However, it is not like he only criticises himself.

Yaxel continued, “But one thing that I'm actually proud of myself on is just like, my three-point shot diet. Last year, if I would have missed like, 3 threes or 4 threes, I'm never shooting another three in the game after that.” He added, “So, I mean, I think it was Denver, I started off like 0-5 and I kept shooting, you know, and that's something I'm very proud of myself on. Something I want to get better on is just my assists. Like it's, I had hopes of getting to like, 5 assists or 6 assists a game, and I'm like, at 2 or 3, something like that.”

Towards the end, Yaxel stated, “So, I'm going to try to keep getting that up as much as I can.” He aims at maintaining the consistency and the lead the team to more such wins throughout the season.

Steve Kerr Comments On Yaxel Lendeborg's Performance

The Golden State Warriors head coach commented on Yaxel's performance during the post-game conference. When asked about his opinion, Steve commented, “He's playing this way, and he really like doesn't know the NBA game yet, you know. But the game is still really fast for him, but he's so skilled and so talented that he's making all kinds of plays out there.” When asked if Yaxel's recent performance will have an impact on the team's game plan, Steve added, “It changes everything. You see on a night like tonight without Steph, you know, we score 124 points and Yax is the main reason that we're with, you know, high power."
