KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 — Applications for the Creative Content Fund (Film Sector), which opens on November 16, must be submitted online through the Creative Industry Management and Monitoring System (SPPIK) portal at https://sppik.finas.my.

The National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (Finas) said applications would be subject to the prevailing Creative Content Fund guidelines and regulations.

“Applications for all categories must be submitted exclusively through the SPPIK portal at https://sppik.finas.my.

“Detailed infographics, application links and video tutorials on the application process will be made available on Finas’ official website and social media platforms when applications open,” it said in a statement today.

The six categories include the International Co-Production Fund for Feature Films/Animated Features, First Time Amateur Film Maker (FAME) Fund and Television Programme Co-Production Fund (Supertelefilm).

The other categories are the Micro-Drama Co-Production Fund (Broadcasting Stations/OTT Platforms), Veteran Artists Supertelefilm (STAR) Fund and National Public Service Announcement (PSA) Production Fund.

For enquiries or further information, applicants may contact Finas’ Production Management Division via email at [email protected].

Yesterday, Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil said the RM15 million Creative Content Fund (DKK), covering six categories under Finas, was aimed at creating opportunities for emerging talent and expanding international collaboration. — Bernama
