The November issue of Asahi Shimbun Publications' Nemuki+ magazine announced on Tuesday that Ei Ohitsuji's Ochibure Zeus to Dorei no Ko (Fallen Zeus and the Slave Boy) manga will move to Ichijinsha's Zero-Sum Online manga website in spring next year. Additionally, sales of the manga's digital version will halt on October 31, but purchased volumes will remain available even after distribution ends.

Ohitsuji also made the announcement on their X/Twitter account and added that the series will resume on Zero-Sum Online starting from the first chapter, with added revisions and corrections. Ohitsuji noted that the first two chapters of the manga will differ significantly from the current versions after revisions. Ohitsuji also assured readers that despite the changes, additions, and revisions, the manga's latest fifth compiled book volume will seamlessly connect with the upcoming sixth volume that Ichijinsha will publish.

Ohitsuji launched the manga in Nemuki+ in February 2022. Asahi Shimbun Publications published the manga's first volume in 2023, and the fifth volume in March 2025. The first part of the manga's story ended with the "Egypt Arc" in December 2025. With the end of the manga's first part, Ohitsuji also announced the manga's hiatus. Ohitsuji stated then that the hiatus is to review and adjust production setup for the manga, and also to recover their health.

Ohitsuji's Though I Am an Inept Villainess: Tale of the Butterfly-Rat Body Swap in the Maiden Court manga, the adaptation of Satsuki Nakamura's light novel series of the same title, launched in Ichijinsha's Monthly Comic Zero-Sum magazine, simultaneously with the novels in December 2020. Ichijinsha published the manga's 11th volume on September 30. Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga and released its ninth volume on August 4.
