Trevor Noah Is Coming to the Grand Egyptian Museum
Egypt is set to welcome internationally acclaimed comedian Trevor Noah, who will headline UTH Festival 2026 at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) on November 20 and 21.
Best known for hosting The Daily Show, Noah will serve as the festival’s closing speaker, bringing his distinctive perspective and storytelling to an event celebrating creativity, culture, and new ideas.
This year’s festival is centred on the theme “Work in Progress,” exploring the idea that personal and professional growth is an ongoing journey shaped by learning, experimentation, and new experiences.
Through a series of talks, workshops, and interactive activities, UTH Festival aims to connect young people with inspiring voices and provide opportunities to explore new interests, exchange ideas, and develop their skills.
The 2026 programme is organised across six tracks: Fashion and Design, Money, Creator Economy, Film and Music, Food, and Sports. Each track will run across both festival days, combining talks, workshops, and practical experiences.
Alongside its talks and workshops, the programme will include a short-film competition, offering a platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their work and connect with a wider creative community.
Noah’s appearance is one of the most prominent announcements for this year’s event. Over the course of his career, the South African comedian has built an international profile through television, stand-up comedy, writing, and production.
Beyond his years hosting The Daily Show, Noah has presented the Grammy Awards for six consecutive years. His work frequently draws on identity, culture, politics and the experiences that influence how people understand the world around them.
The Grand Egyptian Museum provides a distinctive backdrop for this year’s gathering. Located near the Giza pyramids, the museum has become a prominent venue for cultural experiences and major events, offering a setting that connects Egypt’s heritage with contemporary creative expression.
Tickets are available through TicketsMarché, with published prices and ticket categories subject to change. As sessions are added to the official agenda, further information about speakers, timings, and individual experiences is expected to become available.
