Jeff Ekhator is back in the Juventus squad for tonight’s Serie A clash with Napoli at the Allianz Stadium.

As noted by Calciomercato.com, Luciano Spalletti has included the striker in his 21-man list for the game, which kicks off at 20:45 CET [19:45 GMT]. Ekhator joined from Genoa in the summer but has not yet made his Juventus debut. He suffered a semitendinosus injury, returned to group training on Friday, and is now available as an option from the bench.

Juventus still without eight players but Ekhator returns

It’s a timely boost for Spalletti, whose side are level with Napoli on 14 points after Wednesday’s 2-0 defeat at Genoa. The squad has spent the last two days on retreat at the J Hotel.

Juve are still without eight injured players: Khéphren Thuram, Manuel Locatelli, Kenan Yildiz, Arkadiusz Milik, Francisco Conceição, Nico González, Zeki Çelik and Kamil Grabara.

Midfielders: Koopmeiners, Douglas Luiz, McKennie, Sarr
