Satya and Yogi Babu team up for Telugu-Tamil comedy ‘Golden Bhagyam’

Comedy actors Satya and Yogi Babu have teamed up for a new comedy entertainer currently in production. On Tuesday, the makers officially announced the film's title as ‘Golden Bhagyam’. They also released a fun-filled glimpse of the film.

The 3-minute 24-second teaser opens with two men having lunch; one has idli sambar, and the other has biryani and a cold drink. The glimpse promises an entertaining ride built around the combination of popular comedy actors from both industries.Interestingly, ‘Golden Bhagyam’ is not presented as a conventional Telugu or Tamil film. The team also introduced a new term, ‘Telumil’, to describe the Telugu-Tamil bilingual.

It brings together Telugu and Tamil languages and actors from both industries in a crossover format.

The film is directed by Pawan Basamsetti, known for ‘Rangabali’, who attempts something different by bringing Satya and Yogi Babu together. The video further shows Satya speaking Tamil while Yogi Babu speaks Telugu. The makers playfully present the two actors as a major Telugu-Tamil combination, featuring massive multi-starrer cutouts in the background, including those of Rajinikanth-Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi-Daggubati and more.

Technical team of ‘Golden Bhagyam’

Malayalam cinematographer Bablu Aju is handling the visuals, while Pawan CH is composing the music. Kamesh is taking care of the production design, and Ravi Teja Girijala is handling the editing.In addition to directing the film, Pawan Basamsetti, with Nagarjuna Reddy, is also jointly producing it under the banners of Dream Movie Makers and Nayavayu Chitralu. The film marks the first production venture of both banners.
