Dungeon Crawler Carl: The Royal Court Officially Announced

First published back in 2020 and now already boasting multiple sequels, Dungeon Crawler Carl has become a cultural phenomenon, going on to sell over fourteen million copies as of this year. Written by Matt Dinniman, the science fantasy LitRPG follows Carl and his ex-girlfriend's cat, Princess Donut, as they are forced to complete in a dungeon crawl for an intergalactic reality show program.

Thanks to the book series' success, Dungeon Crawler Carl was picked up by Peacock with a television adaptation now in the pipeline. As one of the most prominent additions to the LitRPG genre, its success does not stop there, with graphic novels, audio programs, card games, and tabletop RPGs also on the docket.

We have already reported on two of the TTRPGs up for grabs based on the Dungeon Crawler Carl franchise: its Starter Set and Unstoppable. The official description for Unstoppable reads as follows:

This version of Unstoppable is set in the 18-floor World Dungeon of the Dungeon Crawler Carl novel. Fight your way through mobs and bosses as Carl or Princess Donut! Play solo or bring along a friend for a co-op crawl!

With this card-crafting system, each card is a sleeve with swappable parts. You'll craft and customize your cards as you play! The power curve in this "momentum builder" gives you a fighting chance against the threats you'll face.

Coming in at £48.29 and expected to be released on 23 November, this miniatures set contains nine pre-painted miniature figures to accompany the base TTRPG collections.
