A suspect was arrested after he was caught inside the residential property of Chef Tatung in Antipolo's Barangay San Jose, Sunday.

According to Bam Alegre's report on "Unang Balita" Monday, the suspect had with him a luggage full of cooking implements. The luggage had a sticker of the influencer chef.

"Accidentally, itong na-aresto dumaan sa bandang likod ng property ni Chef Tatung dala itong maleta...aktong tatakbo pa eh. Nung una, sabi niya kalakal lang ito, paninda, eh mayroong picture ng Chef Tatung, mayroong gamit na posibleng ninakaw," said Plt Col. Mark Henry Garcia, Chief of Antipolo CPS.

Along with the recovered luggage, the suspect was brought to the police station, where behind bars, he denied the allegations."Walang katotohanan yon sir," he said. "Nangangalakal na nga lang ako eh. Hindi ko nga alam kaso ko ngayon."

Earlier, Chef Tatung decried alleged police inaction over robbery in his Baras rest house, which resulted in an estimated P4 million worth of stolen items and property damage. — LA, GMA News
