Christiane Amanpour’s ‘The Ex Files’ Pod Adds Tina Brown As Co-Host For Season 2

EXCLUSIVE: With legendary international anchor Christiane Amanpour set to depart CNN next year, Amanpour has been joined by a very special guest host for her The Ex Files podcast.
Tina Brown is stepping into The Ex Files hosting shoes alongside Amanpour and her co-host and ex-husband Jamie Rubin.
Unveiled last year by Global, the podcast unpacks the biggest stories shaping international affairs, geopolitics and the political landscape. Season 2 will include huge stories like the upcoming U.S. midterms.
Brown is a legendary British-American journalist who was previously editor of The New Yorker and founded The Daily Beast. She has written high-profile books on the likes of Princess Diana.
Brown said: “Christiane and Jamie have created a brilliant space for the kind of conversations that go beyond the daily news cycle, so I’m delighted to add my perspective and to ask a few questions that may be slightly less diplomatic. There is no shortage of personalities, power struggles and political stories to unpack.”
Amanpour added: “Tina is one of the great editorial minds of our time, with an extraordinary instinct for the story behind the story. As we head towards the US midterms, I can’t think of a better person to have alongside us to interrogate the power plays and the forces shaping international politics.”
Christiane Amanpour Presents: The Ex Files drops episodes every Tuesday and Thursday on Global Player and YouTube.
CNN announced last year that Amanpour would be leaving the network after more than 40 years. Amanpour also said she would end her PBS show, Amanpour & Company, by the end of this year, along with her daily CNN International series.
