Myanmar worker dies in fall from 25th floor at Jelutong site
GEORGE TOWN: A 31-year-old Myanmar construction worker died after falling from a condominium project in Jelutong yesterday.
The incident occurred at about 6.50pm at the construction site in Lorong Perak, where the victim was reportedly installing boards on the 25th floor.
He was found lying on the 20th floor after the fall.
Northeast district police chief Assistant Commissioner Abdul Rozak Muhammad said preliminary investigations found no criminal element in the incident.
He said the victim's body was taken to Penang Hospital for a post-mortem.
Rozak said police had opened a sudden death report and were conducting further investigations
