Emmerdale airs mysterious Graham scene - here's what he discovers

Translate

Emmerdale has aired a disturbing scene for Graham Foster amid a creepy storyline for the Tates. As a mysterious kidnapper has taken Dawn Fletcher and Joe Tate's baby, they've also warned Kim against speaking with the police.

In tonight's scenes, Graham caught up with Kim at Home Farm, arguing that whoever has been targeting them was clearly sending her a message.

Graham then suggested they should seek help, with Kim admitting she'd spoken to DS Thea Ramsden who, unbeknownst to Kim, is her long-lost daughter and appears to have revenge on her mind.

Later on, Kim heard a noise and went to check, thinking it could be the kidnapper once again trying to scare her.

"I won't stand for this," she said loudly, adding: "I haven't got time for your games."

"All I want is that child returned safely," she continued.

As Kim was ready to confront a potential assailant, she was puzzled to find Mandy and Paddy Dingle at the door. The couple mistakenly thought that Home Farm was part of the murder mystery that Chas had organised for Liam Cavanagh.

After they left, Kim was startled by crying noises. They were coming from a live camera on her tablet, with a message from the kidnapper following.

"The baby is safe. For now," an automated voice recited as a live feed showed Kim that the child was still alive. The voice then confirmed the ransom details for the rendezvous.

Baby Tate would be returned to Kim in exchange for £100,000 in cash, the instructions stated. Kim quickly alerted Graham that the cottage was the location of the exchange.

Already on his way, Graham got a phone call from the kidnapper, ordering him to "just open the door".

He complied, muttering: "Good god". While the content of the room wasn't shown in tonight's episode, a trailer for the Halloween storylines showed Graham looking at a room covered with hanging photos of the baby.

Meanwhile, DS Ramsden called at Home Farm, where Kim insisted that the people who'd taken Joe's baby were in the house.

The detective promised she'd keep Kim safe, but her sly smile told a different story. Is she involved in the kidnapping?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 8pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
