Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor speaks out after daughter Phoebe's beautiful wedding

Coronation Street legend Sally Dynevor has spoken about her daughter Phoebe's beautiful wedding for the first time. Bridgerton star Phoebe recently tied the knot to now-husband Cameron Fuller in France, and shared a few snaps of the big day on Instagram yesterday (17 September).

She captioned the post: "Married my best friend", and among those to comment was her mum, best known for playing Sally Metcalfe on Corrie.

"Best weekend of our life. Beautiful Phoebe and Cameron . Love you both so much," Sally wrote, while Phoebe's sister Hattie similarly called it "the best weekend ever".

Others commenting included the likes of Bridgerton co-star Simone Ashley, Euphoria's Maude Apatow, Practical Magic 2's Joey King, The White Lotus' Patrick Schwarzenegger, and Corrie and Hollyoaks' Brooke Vincent and Denise Welch.

Phoebe and Cameron got engaged in 2024 after meeting the year before, with Sally subsequently beaming about the news on Loose Women.

"He's gorgeous, he's such a lovely man. I'm so, so happy. I'm thrilled, it's actually made my year," she said in 2024.

Speaking previously about Sally's influence on her, Phoebe told Hello! in 2024: "We actually, weirdly, keep ourselves pretty separate, we are doing such different things in the industry, but we all do follow by example.

"But I have always looked up to my mum and how she navigates being on a soap for so many years, and I think my sister [Harriet] does the same with me, hopefully!"

Meanwhile, Phoebe opened up to Vogue after the wedding about keeping her dress – designed by Nicolas Ghesquière – secret from everyone, including her mum.

"It’s really fun to have a secret that no one knows," she said. "But it’s also kind of strange. I don’t have a second opinion – it’s just me and my stylist, Emma Morrison."
