Ajayi Features As Newcastle End Hull’s Unbeaten League Run, Brighton Thrash Arsenal 3-0

Hull City suffered their first defeat in the Premier League this season after going down to a 2-1 loss at Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday.

Super Eagles star Semi Ajayi was in action for Hull and saw action for 90 minutes in the encounter.

Joe Willock opened the scoring for Newcastle just three minutes into the game before Lewis Hall doubled the lead just four minutes later.

Newcastle had the chance to extend their lead in the second minute of first half added time but Yoane Wissa missed from the penalty spot.

In the 67th minute Mohamed Ali-Cho pulled a goal back for Hull which was enough to rescue anything from the game.

At the AMEX Brighton hammered Arsenal 3-0 to end the champions’ unbeaten start to the season.

Brighton took the lead on 31 minutes through Pascal Gross while Charalampos doubled the lead on 45 minutes.

Then in the 57th minute Chema Andres added the third goal for the Seafull.
