She's no stranger to a quirky look, and Rita Ora stole the spotlight once again as she supported her husband Taika Waititi at the premiere of his new film Klara And The Sun on Thursday.

The singer, 35, arrived for the red carpet at the BFI London Film Festival in a kooky black lace gown and a huge headpiece.

Rita commanded attention with her fun look which included her sheer lace dress with a puffball skirt, and matching thorny fascinator.

Alongside posing with her proud spouse, she was joined by the film's stars Jenna Ortega and Amy Adams.

Klara And The Sun sees Jenna play the titular character, a robot girl designed to prevent loneliness, who befriends a teen in an alternative future where technological advances in genetic engineering have divided humans into strict, isolated classes.

She was joined by Amy, who plays the overbearing mother Chrissie, and she graced the red carpet in a chic black and white gown. 

Rita's outing was her first since it emerged she is being sued by her former manager for £3.2million over claims she did not hand over a percentage of her earnings.

The singer parted ways from her ex-manager Sarah Stennett in 2024 after working together since 2009, and it was claimed at the time they had disagreed over the 'direction of her career'.

However, things have since taken a turn and the FAE Ventures founder has lodged papers at the High Court claiming her firm is owed millions, meaning they are now locked in a legal battle.

They have claimed that Rita, who first signed with Sarah's company when she was 18, allegedly failed to hand over a cut of her earnings from tours and TV work.

The amount is said to be around the £3.2million mark, with documents claiming Rita violated contract terms by failing to pay the firm’s cut. 

According to The Sun, the largest underpayment sum is just over £1.7million, with Sarah's firm claiming there were 'impermissible deductions' for professional services including advertising, accountancy and insurance.

There is another claim for £1.1million by 'unreported touring income' between spring 2019 and 2020 while on her Phoenix World Tour.

It is claimed in the document that payments to FAE 'failed to take account of certain touring income which the defendant had received (or which was received on her behalf) during that period'.

The Daily Mail has reached out to Sarah Stennett and Rita Ora's representatives who are yet to respond. 

After leaving FAE Ventures, Rita signed with Melissa Ruderman at Range Media Partners, where she began focusing on more than just singing.

It was cited at the time that she wanted to focus on being a multi-hyphenate, rather than being treated primarily as a recording artist.

Rita recently teased upcoming music when she shared a photo from a recording studio while working on her new album. 

As well as working on her fourth studio album, which is slated for a 2027 release, Rita is also set to appear in several film projects.

She is involved in Amazon MGM's Honeymoon with Harry alongside Jake Gyllenhaal, Kevin Costner and Sarah Pidgeon.

Rita is also in the upcoming Amazon MGM Voltron movie, as well as returning to the Disney Descendants universe in the upcoming Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, following her role as the Queen of Hearts in Descendants: The Rise of Red.

She is also actively building TYPEBEA, the haircare company she co-founded with Anna Lahey.
