Clive Davis’ legendary Pre-Grammy Gala will return on Feb. 6, 2027, at the Beverly Hilton, marking the first edition of the party to take place following the industry icon’s death on June 22 at the age of 94.

The Pre-Grammy Gala has taken place since 1976, with the first edition as a post-Grammy celebration for Barry Manilow. In 2009, the Recording Academy joined as an official partner. Over the years, the party grew into one of the biggest industry events of the year, and a highly-coveted invite.

“Clive built this gala into something the entire music community looked forward to for five decades. He never did it for applause or recognition. He did it because he loved this community, believed in the power of music, and understood what it meant to bring us all together to celebrate it,” Grammys CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said in a statement. “I was lucky to call Clive a friend and mentor, and working with him taught me so much. That’s exactly the spirit he brought to the Pre-Grammy Gala and I know he’d want nothing more than for the show to go on this year. It’s our honor to celebrate the legacy he left behind.”

Each year, Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala has hosted special performances and appearances from top executives across the music industry. Last year’s event featured a video introduction from Barack Obama and performances from Jelly Roll, Alex Warren, John Legend, Olivia Dean and more.
