Emmerdale's Danny Miller criticises "nonsense" Strictly result as co-star is voted off

Emmerdale's Danny Miller has shared a tribute to co-star Lawrence Robb after the latter was voted off Strictly Come Dancing at the end of the show's first-ever triple dance-off.
Lawrence, known to soap fans for playing Mackenzie Boyd on Emmerdale, was among the celebrities taking to the dance floor this year alongside pro partner, Jowita Przystał. Last weekend, the soap star was eliminated following a dance-off which saw he and Jowita against Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu and Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu, after the three couples found themselves in the bottom three.
For Halloween Week, Jowita and Lawrence danced a tango to 'Ghostbusters' by Ray Parker Jr, rocking their very own Ghostbusters-inspired jumpsuits.

After the judges unanimously voted for the couple to leave the competition, Danny Miller took to his Instagram Stories to throw his support behind his fellow Emmerdale star, branding the judges' decision "nonsense".
"One dance-off? Nonsense that. Absolute nonsense," Miller wrote in his Story.
He then added to Lawrence: "Chin up beautiful man @lawrencejarobb you've been amazing. We all adore you and I can't wait for your Rahman and a good ol' laugh at my house in the new year! Love you brother!
"I could never do what you've achieved in these last weeks. Be proud because I bloody well am!!"

Meanwhile, one of the show's three hosts has been mocked by fans for his lack of Halloween spirit.
While Strictly's Emma Willis and Johannes Radebe went all out for the spookiest night of the year, Josh Widdicombe didn't join in the Halloween fun and simply wore a navy suit.
His choice of outfit, especially when compared to Emma and Johannes' costumes, didn't escape the audience's judgement, with viewers commenting on Josh's look on social media.
Strictly Come Dancing airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
