Morata Names Osimhen Among World’s Top Three Strikers
Álvaro Morata has named Victor Osimhen among the top three strikers in world football, reports Completesports.com.
The Leganés forward shared the pitch with Osimhen at Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray during the 2024/25 season, where he developed a strong admiration for the Nigerian striker both on and off the field.
Morata Praises Osimhen
Morata described Osimhen as a fantastic person and revealed how much he enjoyed playing alongside the Super Eagles star.
“Victor is a fantastic guy, Victor is a legend. He’s so funny, he helps people all the time. For me, he’s one of the top three strikers in the world. I really enjoyed playing with him,” Morata told Sporty TV.

Reflecting on their time together, Morata recalled Osimhen’s confidence and constant desire to attack the space behind defenders.
“I remember sometimes I played behind Victor and he was like, put the ball in the space, I’ll score. I think he’s one of the best,” he added.
Morata Wants Longer Stay For Striker
Morata also expressed his hope that Osimhen continues his career at Galatasaray, while admitting that he is eager to see how far the striker can go.
“I hope that he’s enjoying Galatasaray because it’s a fantastic club but I don’t know where is the limit of Victor. I don’t want him to leave Galatasaray but I would like to watch where is Victor’s limit,” Morata said.
