Wil Traval Joins ‘General Hospital’ As Jude

EXCLUSIVE: Another new face will soon be arriving in Port Charles.

Wil Traval (Messiah, Jessica Jones) has joined the cast of ABC’s venerable daytime drama General Hospital. He’ll play a stranger, named Jude, who will arrive in Port Charles in October, we’ve learned. No other details have been revealed, so stay tuned.

Traval joins another new cast member who is heading to Port Charles, Blythe Howard. She portrays Monet, a new lawyer who recently joined Miller & Davis, the firm run by Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), and meets with a Port Charles resident in need of legal counsel, Deadline has confirmed. She’ll appear September 23, according to TV Insider, which first reported her casting.

Traval was a series regular on Michael Petroni’s Netflix series Messiah, opposite Michelle Monaghan, John Ortiz, and Jane Adams. His other series regular credits include Netflix’s Jessica Jones, opposite Krysten Ritter, and ABC’s Red Widow opposite. Rahda Mitchell, Goran Visnjic. and Clifton Collis Jr. He also recurred on Dynasty and had notable arcs on Arrow, Chicago P.D., Grimm, and Once Upon a Time.

Australian actor Traval is best known in his native homeland for his role as Dr. Jack Quade on the long-running medical drama All Saints and Detective Peter Church in police drama White Collar Blue. Traval is repped by Clear Talent Group and managed by The Van Johnson Company.

Frank Valentini serves as General Hospital‘s executive producer. Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten are the show’s co-head writers.
