EUROMATCH NPFL: Ikorodu City Eye First Away Win Ahead Of Doma United Clash
Lagos-based Ikorodu City will be desperate to break their away jinx when they travel to Gombe to face Doma United on Saturday in Matchday 11 of the Euromatch Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The Oga Boys have been impressive at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena this season – three wins, two draws, 0 losses in their last five home games – but they are yet to win on the road this season.
Ikorodu City come into the game 11th on the table with 13 points from 10 games after a spirited 2-2 draw against Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan last Sunday. They were 2-0 down before scoring in the 44th and 83rd minutes to rescue a point.
But away from home, the story is different as Ikorodu have only managed two draws and lost three of their five fixtures on the road. The defeats include a 2-1 loss at Niger Tornadoes on Oct 18 and 2-0 defeat at Rivers United on Oct 4.

Head-to-head in the NPFL is 0-0. Their only recent meeting was a pre-season clash on August 19 where Doma won 3-1.
With just one point separating both sides, Ikorodu City know a first away win will not only end their travel woes but also lift them into the top half of the table.
