Mega Man: Dual Override Game's Video Previews Dual Protagonists, Custom Chips, Special Weapons, Override, Pragmata DLC
CAPCOM unveiled during its CAPCOM Spotlight livestream on Wednesday footage for Mega Man: Dual Override, a new game in its Mega Man series, and highlights the different playstyles for the two main playable characters: the balanced Mega Man and the stronger close-range attacker Protoman. The video also previews Custom Chips, Special Weapons and abilities from Robot Masters, and the Override mechanic. Finally, the Spotlght announced that the new free collaboration DLC for CAPCOM's Pragmata game launches on Thursday (Wednesday in certain time zones). The DLC adds new skins themed after Mega Man and Roll for Hugh and Diana, respectively. There are two types of skins, one stylized after each of the two series.

The game previously introduced the new character Twinkle Girl as well as returning character Protoman.
The Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) union issued an order in March to its members to withhold services from Mega Man: Dual Override after the producer "failed to initiate the signatory process."
Voice actor Ben Diskin announced on Bluesky that he would no longer voice the character of Mega Man. He said he was asked to reprise the character for the new game "only on the condition I work without the protections of a union contract."
CAPCOM recently released Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection, a collection of seven Mega Man Star Force (Ryūsei no Rockman, or Rockman of the Shooting Star) games, for Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on March 27.
