Auqib Nabi made his ODI debut in the second ODI between India and West Indies at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati Wednesday. Nabi earned his maiden ODI call-up for this series.
The Jammu & Kashmir fast bowler received his India cap from KL Rahul. He is India’s second ODI debutant this series after Naman Dhir.

India captain Shubman Gill announced his debut during the toss. Nabi replaced Nitish Kumar Reddy in the playing XI.
He was also included in India’s Test squad for the two-match series against Sri Lanka in August. However, he didn’t make his Test debut in that series.
