This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

Per Variety, Disney has signed a new licensing agreement with Netflix that will allow the streamer (which is a rival to their own service, Disney+) to run certain titles, both old and new, for various periods of time. These titles will not be exclusive to Netflix during their runs, and in some cases their international and U.S. availability have different parameters. According to the report, this is ultimately intended as a brand-building exercise for Disney as a whole and for their streaming content, as Netflix still has a wider viewership base than Disney+.

Two of the most notable licensed franchises are ones with new installments coming up. The first is the formerly Disney+ exclusive series Percy Jackson & the Olympians, which will run on Netflix worldwide for three months starting October 4, overlapping with the premiere of Percy Jackson season 3 on November 20. All five Ice Age movies will also run on Netflix globally for the same period starting October 4, ahead of the theatrical release of the impending installment, Ice Age: Boiling Point, on February 5, 2027.

Other full series are also dropping in various regions on TBD dates, including Revenge and Army Wives worldwide, Fresh Off the Boat in the U.S. and select regions, and This Is Us internationally.
