Euromatch NPFL: Boboye Confident Bendel Insurance Can Halt Rivers United’s Unbeaten Streak

Translate

Bendel Insurance technical adviser Kennedy Boboye is confident his team can secure maximum points when they host Rivers United in their Nigeria Premier Football League ,NPFL, Matchday 10 encounter.

The Benin Arsenals will welcome the league leaders to the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City on Sunday, October 25.

Rivers United remain the only team yet to suffer defeat in the NPFL this season, making them a formidable opponent for the hosts.

Previous meetings between both sides have been closely contested, with matches often ending in draws or narrow victories. Their first meeting in Benin during the 2025/26 season ended in a goalless draw.

Boboye Targets Home Win

However, Boboye believes Bendel Insurance have what it takes to end Rivers United’s unbeaten run and claim all three points on home soil.

“We are ready for Rivers United on Sunday, October 25. We know them, and they know our strength. This time, they won’t go back with any point. We are aiming for maximum points,” Boboye told the club’s media.

“We respect them, but they can’t intimidate us at our fortress. Our team is in good shape despite some injury concerns. I believe we are good to go.”

Bendel Insurance will be hoping to capitalise on their home advantage to hand Rivers United their first defeat of the campaign and strengthen their position in the league standings.
