Golden Gong releases 10-track album
Fast-rising singer, Ibrahim Akogun, better known as Golden Gong, has released his latest album, ‘Faaji’, across major digital streaming platforms.
The album marks another milestone in the career of the University of Ilorin law graduate. It features 10 tracks blending Afro-fusion, street-hop and contemporary sounds.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the project, the singer said he created the album to remind listeners to make time for happiness despite the pressures of everyday life.
He said, “We all work, chase our dreams, handle responsibilities, and sometimes get so caught up in the daily grind that we forget to pause and enjoy the moment.
“But no matter how busy life gets, we should always find time to breathe, dance, laugh, connect with people, and celebrate the little things that make life beautiful.”

The singer added that ‘Faaji’ is designed to encourage listeners to set aside their worries temporarily and embrace moments of enjoyment.
He said, “This album was created to bring the feeling of putting your worries aside for a moment and allowing yourself to enjoy, even in the middle of the hustle.
“Work is important, but so is happiness. So, wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, find a reason to move, smile, dance, and enjoy the moment.”
