Big Brother confirms who faces first eviction of 2026 after nominations twist

Big Brother has confirmed the three housemates facing the first live eviction of 2026. As per the House of Chaos twist, and as viewers saw last night, the nominations were initially decided not by the whole group, but by Tays and Philip - the secret moles.

They picked Millie, Pauline and Rochelle to be in-life for the unfortunate mantle of being the first one out. In tonight's episode, however, the unlucky trio was given the opportunity to save themselves by guessing the moles' identities.

Sadly for them, they all failed - which means it is indeed Millie, Pauline and Rochelle at the mercy of the public vote.

With it being confirmed that this year's polls will ask viewers to pick who they want to evict rather than who they want to save, who will be booted out in two days' time? As the saying goes, you decide.

The eviction will air on Friday night, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best - and in a change to previous years, the interview will air as part of the main show, rather than on the subsequent spin-off Late and Live, which has been scrapped in favour of new format The Group Chat.

Whoever goes, this will mark the 20th time out of 23 civilian UK series that a female has been the first housemate to be officially evicted (as opposed to ejected by bosses, or walking of their own accord).

The only times a man went first were in 2016's season 17, when Marco Pierre White Jr. was shown the door; and the last two ITV series, when Ryan Bradshaw (season 21, 2024) and Gani Khan (season 22, 2025) were the first evictees.

This run of Big Brother has got off to an explosive start since launching on Sunday, with numerous rows already breaking out - including a big one between Johanne and now-nominee Rochelle.

Elsewhere, housemate Frankie has been lauded on social media for coming out as bisexual on the programme, saying on-air: "I've come on this show to come out because I'm bisexual and like, I've been in pain for so long now, probably about a year and half, two years.

"I mean just the guilt and the shame that I'm carrying from it, and I don't know, I just feel like I've let down a lot of people."
