Stephanie Vaquer and her real-life boyfriend, Myles Borne, went with a traditional Mexican theme for Halloween, and Vaquer shared a series of pictures from it on Instagram. She dressed as La Catrina while Borne took the El Catrin look. The photos showed up while the Women's World Champion is still away from WWE television after being ruled medically unfit to compete on RAW. Borne, on the other hand, has kept working in NXT and recently picked up a win at Halloween Havoc. Vaquer put a short caption on the post.
Stephanie Vaquer Dresses As La Catrina While Myles Borne Chooses El Catrin For Halloween
Vaquer and Borne matched their looks around Mexican tradition. The Chilean WWE star was La Catrina, a skeleton figure linked to Day of the Dead in Mexico, and her boyfriend turned up as El Catrin. The pictures went on Instagram a few hours before the update got reported, so it's a peek at their celebrations away from the ring.
Her caption was simple: "Halloween 2026," Vaquer wrote.
The pictures came during an uncertain period in Vaquer's WWE career. She was scheduled to face Becky Lynch in a No. 1 Contender's Match on October 26, with the winner earning a shot at Liv Morgan's Women's World Championship. But WWE announced at beginning of RAW that Vaquer had not been medically cleared to compete. Reports later stated she was dealing with an illness and had been removed from television indefinitely, and she was not believed to be dealing with an injury.
Morgan ended up defending her title against Lynch in the main event. Lynch won by disqualification, so she did not leave with the championship.
Myles Borne Picks Up A Win Against Tavion Heights At NXT Halloween Havoc 2026
With Vaquer away from WWE programming, Borne had his own match to handle at Halloween Havoc. He faced Tavion Heights in a Weapons Wild Match at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. It was the opening contest of the premium live event, which Danhausen hosted.
The rivalry between the two started after Heatwave. Borne betrayed Heights after they lost the NXT Tag Team and North American Championships on the same night, and that incident was his heel turn. It set up the clash at Halloween Havoc.
The match went beyond 14 minutes and turned into a hard-hitting one for both men. Borne defeated the 29-year-old Heights to pick up the win in the opening match of the show.
Vaquer and Borne have not yet worked together on WWE programming, and whether the company puts the real-life couple in the same storyline remains an open question.
