Djed Spence hasn’t yet played for Inter since his move from Tottenham, but according to Gazzetta, the Englishman will be available when Serie A resumes in October.

The 26-year-old joined Inter from Tottenham on a permanent €35m deal over the summer but has yet to make his debut for the Nerazzurri due to fitness issues.

Spence has been training separately since joining the Nerazzurri to regain match fitness after a demanding World Cup campaign with England.

As reported by Gazzetta, the former Spurs defender will train separately this week but is expected to rejoin the team next week.

Inter coach Cristian Chivu has provided his players with a full week off, and group training for those not participating in national team duty will resume next Monday.

Spence will be available for the first game after the international break on October 10, when Inter will host Parma at San Siro.

The 26-year-old already played in Serie A with Genoa, making 16 appearances with the Rossoblu in the 2023-24 campaign.
