'Mirzapur: The Movie' has done well in cinemas, and viewers are now waiting to watch it at home. Drawn from the popular crime thriller series, it brings back Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu Pandit and Divyendu Sharma as Munna Tripathi.

Set during the timeline of the web series’ first season rather than after it, the film follows a fight for power centred on Kaleen Bhaiya and the criminal operation he controls. Everything is thrown off balance when Babban Yadav, a drug lord from Jaisalmer, runs off with a major stash of narcotics, putting Mirzapur’s established order at risk. As the clash intensifies, Kaleen Bhaiya is pressed to expand his illegal drug business, and the people nearest to him find themselves caught up in a dangerous battle.

The conflict draws in Guddu and Bablu Pandit as well as Munna Tripathi, putting their loyalties and alliances to the test. The film also features a large supporting cast that includes Ravi Kishan, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Abhishek Banerjee, Harshita Gaur, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chaddha and Sonal Chauhan, among others.
