President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the country on Tuesday evening at 19:00 on the government’s plans to tackle gender-based violence.

Minister in the Presidency Khumbudzo Ntshavheni made the announcement on Tuesday during the post-Cabinet briefing.

This comes after the bodies of 11 women were found on the East Rand in recent weeks. Ntshavheni said four suspects had so far been arrested in relation to the crimes.
