Jubilee Mourns Nominated Taita Taveta MCA Margaret Kawuki

NAIROBI, Kenya, Oct 29 – The Jubilee Party has mourned its Nominated Taita Taveta Member of the County Assembly Margaret Kawuki, describing her death as a loss to the county and the country’s democratic movement.

In a condolence message, Jubilee Party Secretary General Moitalel ole Kenta said Kawuki was a dedicated public servant who championed democracy, equality and women’s rights.

Kenta said Kawuki represented the aspirations of the people of Taita Taveta with commitment and purpose, seeking to improve the lives of those she served.

He described the late MCA as a courageous voice for marginalised groups and a person who maintained dignity, compassion and reason even in difficult moments.

“Her service to the people of Taita Taveta and her contribution to the democratic ideals that our party stands for will not be forgotten,” Kenta said.

He noted that her death was a loss not only to her family and colleagues but also to the Jubilee fraternity and the wider democratic movement.

Kenta extended the party’s condolences to Kawuki’s family, friends, colleagues, supporters and the people of Taita Taveta County, urging them to draw strength from her legacy of public service.
