In one of the latest episodes of MasterClass, the royal talked about dealing with grief and depression in his life and also opened up about what things were like for him at the time of his mother, Princess Diana’s passing. The Daily Mail reported that the star was paid a hefty amount of money—exactly USD 100,000—for his contribution to the episode.The prince released the video for World Mental Health Day along with neuroscientist and grief expert Dr.

Mary-Frances O'Connor for the launch of a new MasterClass series called ‘Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss.’ He touched upon topics about his mother, serving in Afghanistan, attending therapy, and having panic attacks.During the video, he shared, “I can actually get eye contact from her, and there’s a cheekiness in her smile… I just feel very connected to her,” adding, “I find myself looking at her and wondering, ‘What is she thinking about what I am doing right now?’” He also opened up about how he dealt with her passing and how it took him nearly two decades to shed tears over her passing.

"I'd spent so long emotionally numb, to a large extent, because I felt disloyal and guilty for the possibility of being happy and joyful without her," he mentioned.

Princess Diana was 36 years old when she was killed in a car crash on August 31, 1997. Prince Harry was 12 years old at the time of her passing.While the prince was paid a heavy amount for the feature, the palace seems to be on the outs about the video.

The Palace has not taken well to Prince Harry’s move

They also added, "Diana remains the one subject audiences will always pay to hear him discuss."The report also shared that he had put limits on himself while featuring on the show, adding, "Harry was willing to talk about Diana, grief, and losing his mother. What he wasn't willing to discuss was William, Catherine, or Uncle Andrew.
